The PGA Tour has scrapped its Stephen Curry-hosted event for next season after it couldn't find a title sponsor, the San Francisco Chronicle reported Tuesday.
The tournament was scheduled to be held Sept. 19-22 at Lake Merced Golf Club in Daly City, Calif. The report states that talks with Workday about the company serving as title sponsor fell through.
The Tour was expected to formally announce the event in the next two weeks.
