JESSICA BREHM
School: Holmdel
Year: Sophomore
In what was arguably the best individual performance of the season, Brehm lapped the field at the Monmouth County Tournament at Cream Ridge, posting a 4-over-par 74 to win by seven shots over defending champion Sophia Taverna. She led the Crimson Knights to runner-up finishes in the team standings at both the Monmouth County and Shore Conference tournaments, finishing tied for fifth at the SCT.
ANNA CLEMENTS
School: Trinity Hall
Year: Freshman
Clements had an immediate impact in her first season of high school golf for the Monarchs. She finished fourth in her first high school tournament, firing an 86 at the Monmouth County Tournament at Cream Ridge, as Trinity Hall finished third as a team. At the Shore Conference Tournament, Clements finished alone in fourth place, posting a 91 at Jumping Brook.
ANNA EFFENBERGER
School: Ranney
Year: Senior
A second-team All-Shore selection as a junior, Effenberger began her final spring of high school golf with a solid performance at the Monmouth County Tournament, finishing tied for eighth. But it was at the Shore Conference Tournament where she elevated her game, finishing alone in third place behind Sophia Taverna and Megha Ganne. She had finished ninth at the SCT a year earlier at Jumping Brook.

MEGHA GANNE
School: Holmdel
Year: Freshman
With extensive tournament experience as a junior golfer, it was anticipated that Ganne would have an immediate impact in high school, and she didn’t disappoint. She finished second at the Shore Conference Tournament, shooting 78 to finish one shot back at Jumping Brook. At the NJSIAA Tournament of Champions, she had the lead late in the round before finishing tied for third. She qualified for the U.S. Women’s Open at just 15-years-old this spring.
LEXI STEWART
School: Holmdel
Year: Junior
A repeat first-team All-Shore performer, Stewart helped the Hornets roll to team titles at both the Monmouth County and Shore Conference tournaments, before they finished fifth at the NJSIAA Tournament of Champions. Individually, Stewart opened the season by placing third at the MCT, before producing a top-10 finish at the SCT. She closed out the season with a 97 at the Tournament of Champions.
SOPHIA TAVERNA
School: Holmdel
Year: Junior
It was a three-peat for the player who has been a fixture at the top of the Hornets’ lineup since her freshman season, firing a 77 at Jumping Brook in Neptune to win her third straight Shore Conference Tournament title. Taverna opened the season with a runner-up finish at the Monmouth County Tournament. She closed out the season with a top-15 finish at the Tournament of Champions with a 79 at Royce Brook.
JADA WALCH
School: Red Bank Catholic
Year: Sophomore
With the graduation of Amanda Hart, the Caseys needed a player to step into the top spot in the lineup, and Walch delivered in her second season. Walch was a model of consistency in the big events, beginning at the Monmouth County Tournament, where she finished tied for fifth. She repeated that effort at the Shore Conference Tournament, where she was once again tied for fifth, cutting 14 shots off her score from the previous year at Jumping Brook.
