Notes: It's the first PGA Tour stop in the state of Michigan in 10 years, as some of the best golfers in the world descend on the Detroit Golf Club on the city's westside. 

Nate Lashley, the No. 353 player in the world, maintained a one shot lead with a 5-under-par 67 on Friday afternoon, and is 14-under-par. Cameron Champ is 13 under. Rickie Fowler and Patrick Reed are both 8 under, tied for 21st. Dustin Johnson, Gary Woodland and Bubba Watson all missed the cut.

Find all tee times and parings for Saturday. The final pairing of Lashley and Champ tee off at 2 p.m.

1:00 p.m.: Brandt Snedeker finishes with the best round of the day thus far, going 7-under on Friday to move into a tie for third place with Charles Howell III.

12:30 p.m.: Petoskey's Joey Garber responded to an even day Thursday with a 4-under on Friday to move into the top 20 of the Rocket Mortgage Classic leaderboard. 

"I would've liked to have turned a little better, but finishing well on the back nine serves me well going into tomorrow," Garber said. 

He said he's also heard an increased amount of "Go Joey's!" coming from the gallery. 

"It's been so cool for me to be home in Michigan," Garber said. 

12:00 p.m.:  Seth Reeves played alone. 

Scheduled for an 8:15 a.m. tee time in the third round of the Rocket Mortgage Classic Friday, Reeves completed the round just with caddie Lance Bailey. He shot a 1-under 71. The 27-year-old Reeves finished his in just under 3 and a half hours.

"It's really weird," Reeves said. "You don't realize how much you're used to playing with somebody and the rhythm that creates." 

10:30 a.m.: Brandt Snedeker drained an eagle on the par-5 seventh hole. 

10:00 a.m.: In honor of military appreciation day, the Hooligans Flight Team did a flyover the Detroit Golf Course.

9:30 a.m.: Vaughn Taylor is off to a quick start on Saturday after birdies on two of his first four holes. He shot a 2-under 70 in the first round and a 3-under 69 in the second round.
