There won’t be a repeat champion in the Michigan Women’s Amateur Golf Championship this year.
Kerri Parks of Flushing is not in the field for the 103rd tournament, which begins Monday at Spring Lake Country Club.
Parks didn’t enter the event because she is at Marshall University taking summer classes. She won last year’s women’s state am at Western Golf & Country Club en route to being named Golf Association of Michigan Women’s Player of the Year.
