MADISON (WKOW) -- While plows were taking care of the snow on the roads, about 100 people decided to golf in it.
For the 4th year, Glide Disc Golf hosted a tournament to raise money for local food pantries.
Proceeds from today's event went to teh River Food Pantry, which serves thousands of families each month.
Organizers say business is about more than just making money.
"There's no doubt that going out and being a part of the community, helping support the community, is good business," said Mike Batka, owner of Glide Disc Golf.
"Working with people, working with kids, helping people be happy around us -- it feels like we're part of their family," said Jon Clark, warehouse supervisor at River Food Pantry.
They expect the event to raise between $5,000-$6,000 in addition to food donations.
