Rory McIlroy has been near the top of the leaderboard all weekend at the 2020 Arnold Palmer Invitational, but he has yet to sniff the top spot. Entering Sunday's final round at 4 under, just two shots back of leader Tyrrell Hatton, he will have a chance to climb as part of the penultimate pairing of the day. Bay Hill has been tough for everyone who has tried to test it, and McIlroy's 66 on Thursday put him in such a prime spot that a pair of 73s over the last two rounds has not wrecked his chances of winning.
Now with the 2019 winner of The Players Championship just days away from defending his crown, McIlroy is looking to take this event for the second time in three years. The top of the leaderboard is not overly stacked, though peering at McIlroy, Hatton and Marc Leishman (also T2) from a distance is Bryson DeChambeau, who finished runner-up here to McIlroy two years ago.
